Threat of terrorist attack: Taylor Swift’s concert in Vienna canceled
According to a foreign news agency, the concerts have been canceled after security officials confirmed plans to attack.
Austrian police have also arrested two people suspected of planning the attacks.
“We have no choice but to cancel the concerts after government authorities confirmed plans for terrorist attacks at the stadium,” a statement from the concert organizers said.
According to reports, Taylor Swift was scheduled to perform at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium on August 8, 9 and 10, which was expected to draw around 65,000 attendees each day.
