Lahore Board Gets Thousands of Recheck Requests
In response to a high failure rate in the class nine exams, the Lahore Board has been inundated with thousands of online recheck requests from concerned students. The significant number of applications reflects widespread dissatisfaction and uncertainty among students about their exam results.
Recent reports indicate that a staggering 150,000 candidates failed the class nine exams administered by the Lahore Board. Of particular concern is the History of Pakistan paper, which experienced the highest failure rate. Only 12.5 percent of students who took this exam were able to pass, highlighting a troubling trend and raising questions about the assessment process.
The influx of recheck requests underscores the need for a thorough review of the examination results and prompts an urgent call for the Lahore Board to address the concerns of students and ensure fairness in the grading process.
The pass rates for various subjects in the class nine exams were as follows: Islamic History had a pass rate of 45 percent, General Math saw a 58 percent pass rate, and General Science had a pass rate of 60 percent.
